Over 16,000 vacancies at 2025 Job Counseling Festival

118 units with nearly 150 booths have registered to take part in the first Hai Phong Job Counseling Festival in 2025, offering more than 16,000 vacancies.

The Hai Phong Confederation of Labor held a press conference on November 27 to announce information about the first Job Counseling Festival in 2025.

The festival will take place from December 5 to 7 at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace at 53 Lach Tray street, Gia Vien ward.

At the press conference, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong and Chairman of the city Confederation of Labor, said the first Job Counseling Festival is meaningful and will create effective connections between workers and businesses, contributing to job creation and sustainable labor restructuring, and meeting the city’s socio-economic development needs.

The event includes job counseling, labor recruitment, information on social housing projects; communication activities on employment and practice of group skills for trade union members and workers; a seminar on social housing policies; musical performances; voluntary blood donation; communication on labor laws and social insurance policies; free health screening; free motorbike oil changes for trade union members and workers; and lucky draws with valuable gifts.

So far, 118 units with nearly 150 booths have registered to participate in the festival, including 88 businesses in the city with recruitment needs such as LG Display Vietnam, LG Innotek Vietnam, LG Electronics, Regent Garment Factory, Sumidenso, Jasan, Horn, Maple, Amtran, Brother Vietnam, Heesung, Paishing, Sumida, and Chillisin, offering more than 16,000 vacancies.

The city Confederation of Labor is actively coordinating with the city Military Command, grassroots trade unions, and universities to widely disseminate information to workers, students, discharged soldiers, and residents; and arranging shuttle buses to bring people from the western part of the city to the event.
