Nearly 1,800 people receive job counseling and referrals

On September 22, the Hai Phong Employment Service Center under the city Department of Home Affairs organized its regular job transaction session. Nearly 400 workers participated in person, while about 1,400 others joined online via livestream on the center’s fanpage.

The session drew 15 enterprises operating in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, technology, computer programming, and restaurant – catering services, with recruitment demand for nearly 3,400 workers.

Among them, there was high demand for unskilled labor. For example, Regina Miracle International Vietnam Co., Ltd. needed 1,500 workers; Maple Vietnam Co., Ltd. sought to hire 500 more workers; JCV Corp Co., Ltd. wanted an additional 200 workers; and Van Long Co., Ltd. required 100 laborers.

In addition to receiving job counseling and referrals, nearly 400 workers who attended in person at the center’s Branch 1, No. 735 Nguyen Van Linh street, An Bien ward, were also provided with information on overseas employment programs and vocational training policies for workers receiving unemployment benefits.

The session helped workers find jobs suited to their abilities, strengths, and aspirations, contributing to improving labor supply-demand connection efficiency and reducing the city’s unemployment rate.
