The Organizing Committee of the 2025 Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival has announced the official schedule for the festival’s opening ceremony following an adjustment decision made on October 7.
Accordingly, the ceremony commemorating the 725th death anniversary of National Hero Tran Hung Dao and the opening ceremony of the 2025 Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, including a seal opening ritual, will take place on October 12 at a stage set up in parking lot No. 1 of Kiep Bac temple area.
In addition to the seating area for delegates and 5,040 seats for locals and visitors, the Organizing Committee has arranged two LED screens broadcasting the event live, one behind the grandstand and another in front of the four-pillar gate, to serve the large audience by the dyke.
The Army Festival on the Luc Dau river is scheduled to take place from 9 am to 10 am on October 13, provided that weather conditions remain stable and free from rain or flooding.
The peace-praying ceremony and flower lantern festival will be held from 7 pm to 9.30 pm on October 13.
Meanwhile, the Culture, Tourism, and Trade Promotion Week will run from October 4 to 19 (previously scheduled from October 4 to 12).
The time and location of other activities within the 2025 Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival program remain unchanged.
Earlier, the Organizing Committee decided to postpone the opening ceremony and several activities of the 2025 Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival due to the influence of a low-pressure area weakened from Storm No. 11 (Matmo).
