Due to the impact of a low-pressure area weakening from Storm No. 11 (Matmo), the opening ceremony of the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival has been postponed to a later, more suitable time.
The Hai Phong People's Committee has decided to postpone the ceremony commemorating the 725th death anniversary of National Hero Tran Hung Dao and opening the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, previously scheduled for 8.10 pm tonight (October 7).
Accordingly, the live television broadcast of the event on VTV1 channel, organized by Vietnam Television, was also postponed.
The program was expected to be held on a grand scale to commemorate the 725th death anniversary of National Hero Tran Hung Dao, and to honor the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac relic complex, recently recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site.
The event will be organized at a suitable time, with details to be widely announced to the public and visitors.
