Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Ngoc Chau has required the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival to be organized in a solemn, impressive and thoughtful manner.
Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee, Chairman of the city People’s Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, chaired a meeting to hear reports on preparations for the festival at the city Political - Administrative Center on the afternoon of September 16.
In his concluding remarks, Chairman Le Ngoc Chau emphasized that the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival holds special significance, associated with UNESCO’s recognition of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac complex as a world cultural heritage site.
To ensure the festival is organized solemnly, impressively and thoughtfully, the Chairman of the city People’s Committee requested the subcommittees assisting the Organizing Committee to fully absorb the opinions at the meeting, assign tasks clearly, and ensure the “six clarities” (clear person, clear task, clear timeline, clear effectiveness, clear responsibility, and clear coordination).
The artistic script must be tightly edited, with clear expression and reasonable length, both honoring traditional values and being close and easy to receive. Communication work must be methodical and creative, creating strong resonance, helping people and visitors clearly understand the value of the heritage and the lives and careers of predecessors, thereby becoming more proud, attached, and accompanying the festival.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will direct the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board to develop short, concise, easy-to-receive promotional content and, at the same time, select characteristic tourism products and tours for introduction, contributing to promoting heritage values associated with socio-economic development.
All detailed plans and programs must be completed before September 25, ensuring synchronous and solemn organization of the festival, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of people and international friends.
Compared with previous festivals, the 2025 Autumn Festival has many new features, including the duration extended to 9 days instead of 5; expanded heritage experience space; first thematic tours to explore 5 world heritage sites in Hai Phong; strong application of technology in promotion and live broadcasting of many activities on the national television; and development of a unified festival identity system from the logo, publications to communication products.
Through a rich series of activities, the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival will not only honor the merits of predecessors and promote the heritage values recognized by UNESCO, but also contribute to affirming Hai Phong’s position as an attractive and distinctive cultural and tourism destination in the region and the whole country.
