Nearly 32.8 million people nationwide have had electronic health records created on the VNeID app.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, as of July 11, 2026, nearly 32.8 million people had electronic health records created via the app VNeID nationwide.
Ho Chi Minh City recorded the highest number, with about 3.3 million electronic health records, while Hanoi had more than 3 million.
The Ministry of Health is currently carrying out a 100-day campaign to create and update electronic health records.
Alongside sector-specific databases, the ministry is building a national health database based on data collected from medical treatment, outpatient care, periodic health check-ups and screening examinations. All of this data will be synchronized with the Health Data Portal and connected to electronic health records on the VNeID app.
The ministry also expects to accelerate the standardization of sector-specific data while ensuring that every citizen has an electronic health record, laying the foundation for nationwide health management, promoting digital transformation in healthcare, and improving the quality of health care in the time ahead.
