During the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, nearly 1,500 officials and workers of Hai Phong Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd. were mobilized to work throughout Tet.

According to a representative of Hai Phong Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd., as household waste volumes surge dramatically during Tet—several times higher than on normal days—the company has developed a production plan to operate throughout the holiday. Nearly 1,500 employees have been assigned to work continuously, including during the New Year’s Eve moment, to ensure timely collection and transportation of waste and to maintain a clean and tidy city during the peak days before, during, and after Tet.
Workers have been putting in overtime since the days leading up to Tet, thoroughly collecting household and bulky waste to prevent overnight accumulation. Efforts are concentrated on clearing waste at areas hosting spring flower markets, entertainment venues, and other crowded locations. The company has proactively maintained all specialized vehicles, established flexible operating procedures, accelerated truck rotation, and remained ready to adjust routes in case of traffic congestion to ensure uninterrupted waste transportation.
It is expected that on the 29th day of the lunar month and the first day of Tet, the company’s leadership will visit affiliated units to extend Tet greetings and encouragement to workers on duty across the city.
