A low-pressure area is currently active in the central part of the East Sea, according to the city’s Hydrometeorological Station.
At 1 am on September 16, the center of the low-pressure area was located at around 12.5–13.5°N latitude and 115.5–116.5°E longitude, in the central East Sea.

Vessels operating in the affected waters are advised to take precautions and ensure safety.
On September 16, scattered showers and thunderstorms are also forecast in the northern region of Vietnam, with localized heavy rain of 10 – 30 mm, and in some places exceeding 80 mm.
Thunderstorms may bring whirlwinds, lightning, hail, and strong gusts.
