In the first six months of 2026, Hai Phong Tax Office No. 2 collected nearly 70% of its budget target, with many indicators completed ahead of schedule.

On the afternoon of July 10, Hai Phong Tax Office No. 2, which manages five wards and communes: Hong Bang, Hong An, An Duong, An Hai and An Phong held a meeting to review tax work in the first six months of 2026 and rolled out tasks and solutions for the final six months of the year.
In 2026, Hai Phong Tax Office No. 2 was assigned to collect more than VND 2,304.8 billion in budget revenue by Hai Phong Tax Department. The total target excluding land use levy was more than VND 1,826.9 billion. The assigned effort target was more than VND 2,315.2 billion.
In the first half of 2026, the office collected more than VND 1,605 billion in domestic revenue, equal to 69.6 percent of the statutory estimate and 69.3 percent of the effort target, ahead of the city’s average collection progress. Excluding land use levy and land rent, the office collected more than VND 1,355 billion, equal to 75.2 percent of the statutory estimate and 134.9 percent of the same period in 2025.

Building on these results, in the last six months of 2026, Hai Phong Tax Office No. 2 will continue to closely monitor production and business conditions, tighten control over revenue sources, curb revenue losses, recover tax arrears, accelerate digital transformation, and strive to meet and exceed the 2026 state budget revenue target.
