With passenger numbers continuing to rise, the train running from Hai Duong to Hai Phong stations has become a useful means of transport for officials and residents.
According to data from the Hai Phong Railway Transport Branch, the HP15/HP16 train pair operating between Hai Duong and Hai Phong stations made a total of 20 trips in November, serving 16,437 passengers, averaging 411 passengers per trip.
Among them, 384 passengers used monthly tickets, mainly officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers at administrative agencies and units in Hai Phong.
The Railway JSC. is currently applying preferential fares to support travel needs for officials and residents commuting between the western and eastern areas of Hai Phong. The monthly ticket price is now 800,000 VND per person.
Train HP15 departs Hai Duong station at 6:20 am, arrives at Thuong Ly station at 7:04 am, leaves Thuong Ly at 7:07 am, and arrives at Hai Phong station at 7:17 am.
For the return trip, train HP16 departs Hai Phong station at 5:30 pm, arrives at Thuong Ly station at 5:40 pm, departs Thuong Ly at 5:51 pm, and arrives at Hai Duong station at 6:35 pm.
After more than two months of operation, the number of passengers on trains HP15/HP16 has become more stable and continues to increase, providing a convenient option for officials, civil servants, public employees, students, workers, and residents travelling after the merger of Hai Duong and Hai Phong.
The HP15/HP16 train pair runs from Monday to Friday every week.
