The monthly ticket price for trains running between Hai Duong and Hai Phong stations will be reduced starting this November. The new schedule is also designed to better accommodate residents, officials, and civil servants.
To facilitate travel between the western and eastern areas of Hai Phong city, aligning with residents’ and workers’ daily routines, and to attract more passengers, the Railway Transport JSC. has adjusted the operation plan for trains HP15 and HP16 running between Hai Duong and Hai Phong stations.
Accordingly, from November 1, train HP15 will depart Hai Duong Station at 6:20 am, arrive at Thuong Ly Station at 7:04 am, leave at 7:07 am, and reach Hai Phong Station at 7:17 am, 20 minutes later than the current schedule.
On the return trip, train HP16 will maintain its existing timetable: departing Hai Phong Station at 5:30 pm, arriving at Thuong Ly Station at 5:40 pm, leaving at 5:51 pm, and reaching Hai Duong Station at 6:35 pm.
To encourage officials, civil servants, and residents to use train HP15 and HP16 for commuting between Hai Duong and Hai Phong, the company has reduced the monthly ticket price from 1.5 million VND to 800,000 VND.
The one-way ticket price between Hai Duong, Thuong Ly, and Hai Phong stations is set at 55,000 VND for all passengers.
To better serve travelers, the company will also offer suitable food and beverage services on board.
