The programme aims to spread the message of joining hands to protect the environment, preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable development in the Cat Hai special zone, Hai Phong City.

On the morning of June 12, at the Cat Hai special zone, the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), in coordination with Hai Phong City Police and the Cat Hai Special Zone People's Committee, organized the 2026 launch ceremony for environmental and biodiversity protection.

At the event, delegates performed the official launching rites for the 2026 campaign. Representatives of more than 300 households engaged in fishing and seafood trading in the Cat Hai special zone signed commitments to comply with environmental protection laws, refrain from using banned fishing gear, and avoid destructive harvesting of marine resources.
The programme also featured a photo exhibition promoting marine environment protection; interactive sessions on biodiversity and fisheries conservation. These activities aimed to amplify the message of collective action to protect the environment, safeguard biodiversity for sustainable development.

On the occasion, the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), together with Hai Phong City Police and local businesses, presented gifts to policy- families and disadvantaged students in the area and donated sanitation equipment to the Cat Hai Special Zone and Cat Ba National Park.
