Hai Phong honors outstanding businesses and taxpayers

The Hai Phong Tax Office held a ceremony on October 9 to honor taxpayers for their compliance with tax policies and laws in 2025.

Attendees included representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Northern Coastal Region Branch, the Korean Chamber of Business in Vietnam, the Hai Phong Branch of the Chinese Business Association in Vietnam, and 135 outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals operating in the city.

These businesses were recognized for their strong compliance with tax policies and laws in 2025 and received certificates of merit and commendations from the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Department and the Hai Phong Tax Office.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Tien Truong, Head of the Hai Phong Tax Office, emphasized that Hai Phong was entering a new phase of development with higher goals and greater demands for growth and competitiveness.

To unlock resources, State management agencies must genuinely work alongside businesses and create a favorable environment in which they can operate steadily, efficiently and sustainably. The City Tax Office expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the business community, entrepreneurs and taxpayers for working with the tax sector to fulfill their tax obligations to the State.

Guided by the principle that “taxpayers’ development is the measure of the tax authorities’ service effectiveness,” the City Tax Office will continue listening to taxpayers, pursuing reforms, accelerating digital transformation and improving service quality. It will also work to build a professional, modern, transparent and disciplined tax authority that is increasingly accessible to taxpayers.
