Representatives of the Hai Phong Red Cross Society presented 9 billion VND raised by the city’s collectives and individuals to the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee on October 8.
The fundraising campaign for the Cuban people has received strong guidance from the city’s leadership and active coordination from departments, agencies, mass organizations, and localities. Between August 13 and October 16, through various forms of donation, the city Red Cross Society collected a total of 9.3 billion VND.
This profound humanitarian activity aims to provide timely assistance to help the people of Cuba overcome their current difficulties.
The fundraising campaign continues to accept donations until October 16, 2025. After that, the city Red Cross Society will summarize the results and present the remaining amount.
