On these days, the construction site of the Lac Vien Warehouse 3 Social Housing Project is filled with urgent working atmosphere. The contractor mobilizes maximum manpower with nearly 1,000 technical staff and workers, along with hundreds of vehicles and machinery to carry out continuous three shifts to ensure progress as planned. This is one of the city's largest and most significant social housing projects, with a scale of 4,456 apartments.

A series of large-scale social housing projects across the city are being implemented and accelerated, such as Happy Home Trang Cat (Hai An Ward) developed by Vinhomes Joint Stock Company with 3,804 apartments, the social housing area at the expanded Tan Phu Hung urban residential area (Tan Hung Ward) with 1,479 apartments...

According to the Department of Construction, by the end of 2025, Hai Phong has exceeded the targets set by the Government for social housing development in the 2021-2025 period. For the 2026-2030 phase, the city aims to complete investment, construction, and bring to market at least 32,845 social housing units, contributing to fulfilling the Government's target of 49,400 social housing units for the 2021-2030 period. This is also a key task in realizing the city's goal of building and implementing the model "Socialist Housing in Hai Phong: equity, humanity, solidarity," with a roadmap to eliminate housing difficulties for residents by 2030.
