The Hai Phong Community Healthcare and HIV/AIDS Prevention Support Center, in coordination with the Women’s Unions of Thien Huong and Hoa Binh wards and Van Phuc General Clinic, organized free reproductive health checkups and screenings for nearly 100 female workers living in rental housing in the two wards on November 2.
The event was part of the project “Supporting reproductive and sexual healthcare for migrant workers in Hai Phong,” funded by the United Nations Fund (UNF), which has been implemented in the city since September 2023.

The female workers received imaging diagnostics, early detection of common gynecological diseases, cancer screening, and guidance on preventing sexually transmitted infections.
Doctors and medical staff from Van Phuc General Clinic also provided consultations to help the female workers raise awareness and capacity for self-care in reproductive health, thereby reducing medical costs.
In addition to free reproductive health examinations, the participants were supported with travel expenses and transportation and received gifts from the organizers.
