Determined to effectively control workplace accidents and occupational diseases and to move toward a safe, humane, and modern production system, Hai Phong People’s Committee of has launched the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (May 1–31, 2026), under the theme ‘Innovating management and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the digital era’. This aims to create a peak period for communication activities and to promote concrete action programmes to prevent occupational accidents and diseases among trade unions, sectors, enterprises and the wider community.
To make occupational safety and health work effective, enterprises must actively participate, especially by investing funds, infrastructure, and appropriate software to support safety management in the digital age.
At the same time, trade union executive committees should advise enterprises in developing implementation roadmaps and launching innovation contests and technical solutions on occupational safety at each workshop, production team, and unit, contributing to reducing safety risks and preventing accidents . Moreover, mechanisms should be put in place to honor outstanding groups and individuals who have contributed to the enterprise’s sustainable development.
