The Ministry of Industry and Trade has called for strengthening domestic production capacity, diversifying the sources of gasoline and diesel supply, and developing alternative energy sources such as E10 biofuel, while enhancing storage capacity and risk‑management capability.

Environmental protection tax on energy drops to 0 VND

From 24:00 on March 26 to the end of April 15, the environmental protection tax on gasoline (excluding ethanol), diesel oil, and jet fuel is set at 0 VND per liter. The special consumption tax rate on all types of gasoline is also 0%.
