Hai Phong branch of the Tinh Thuong Microfinance Institution (TYM) has helped many members and their families access resources to expand production, stabilize their livelihoods, and sustainably escape poverty.

In the third quarter of 2025, TYM’s Hai Phong branch supported 1,317 women in accessing suitable loan sources with a total value of more than 64 billion VND, enabling many households to expand production, stabilize their livelihoods, and sustainably escape poverty.
To achieve these positive results, the branch closely coordinated with local authorities, Women’s Unions, and Trade Unions at all levels to expand microcredit coverage, promote awareness, and help women access financial services more easily.
At the same time, the branch took flexible measures such as lowering interest rates for certain loan types to ease clients’ financial burdens, introducing mid-term loans to help women manage their production and business plans more effectively, and promoting multi-purpose and salary-based loan programs for trade union members. These initiatives provided workers with safe, legal, and low-cost financial options.

TYM’s Hai Phong branch is currently operating in 36 communes, wards, and special zones in the city’s eastern region, with 9,296 members, total outstanding loans exceeding 202.6 billion VND, and total savings deposits surpassing 64 billion VND. Nearly 1,000 members have benefited from non-financial and social welfare programs.
Beyond financial activities, TYM’s Hai Phong branch places strong emphasis on social welfare, spreading compassion throughout the community. In the third quarter of 2025, the branch sponsored two disadvantaged children and presented seven gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, policy beneficiary families, and former youth volunteers on the occasion of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).
