The Hai Phong Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans has jointly donated 200 million VND to help residents of Na Son commune in Dien Bien province overcome the aftermath of flooding.
On August 22, the Hai Phong Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans, in coordination with the Huong Tu Tam Club, organized the delivery of financial assistance to support local people in Na Son commune, Dien Bien province affected by recent floods.
Na Son is among the areas hardest hit by heavy rain and flooding in early August 2025. Hundreds of households suffered from inundation, ground subsidence, and landslides; many houses were damaged, while assets and crops were swept away, leaving residents in dire circumstances.
The Hai Phong Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans, together with the Huong Tu Tam Club, contributed 200 million VND to support the residents in recovering from the floods, gradually stabilizing housing and livelihoods.
This timely and practical assistance demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and compassion from the people of Hai Phong toward those in Dien Bien province.
Earlier, the delegation also visited and presented 20 million VND along with various gifts to orphans at the SOS Children’s Village in Dien Bien province.
