Politburo Member and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and Hai Phong leaders offered incense in tribute to fallen heroes at the city Martyrs’ Memorial.
A delegation, led by Politburo Member and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, offered incense at the Martyrs’ Memorial of Hai Phong city on July 23 morning on the occasion of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).
Joining the delegation were Secretary of the city Party Committee Le Tien Chau, Deputy Secretaries of the city Party Committee, members of the city Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairmen of the city People’s Council and Committee, among others.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates offered incense to commemorate the immense contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs who devoted their lives to the revolutionary cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people. They prayed for the eternal peace of the martyrs and for national prosperity and peace.
The Party organization, authorities, armed forces, and people of Hai Phong vowed to follow the example of previous generations, uphold the tradition of unity, and remain determined to overcome all challenges.
They aim to maximize the spirit of self-reliance and resilience of the port city, while taking full advantage of the support from Central bodies and mobilizing all available resources to fulfill socio-economic development targets and maintain strong growth momentum.
These efforts will contribute to turning Hai Phong into a leading city in the country’s industrialization and modernization in line with the Politburo’s Resolution No. 45.
