Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed Decision No. 339/QĐ-TTg assigning Government members to lead working missions with local authorities in order to accelerate the implementation of key national resolutions.

Under the decision, Government members will work directly with provinces and cities to promote the implementation of the resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress and Government resolutions, contributing to the successful realization of the 2026 socio-economic development plan.
Their tasks include reviewing implementation progress, addressing issues within their authority or proposing solutions to higher-level authorities, removing bottlenecks, supporting production and business activities, and accelerating public investment disbursement.
The working missions will also assess efforts to resolve delayed projects in line with National Assembly Resolutions No. 170/2024/QH15 and No. 265/2025/QH15, as well as the implementation of key projects launched in 2025 and national target programs.
Other areas of focus include the implementation of the two-tier local government model and preparations for the elections of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
The assignments are aimed at helping achieve economic growth of over 10% in 2026 and in the following years.
Government members are required to proactively develop work plans and organize working missions with localities in appropriate formats, to be completed before March 8, 2026. They must report to the Prime Minister on the content and outcomes of the meetings, clearly identifying the causes of difficulties and obstacles and submit recommendations where necessary.
