Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau has suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and socio-political organizations to consolidate personnel and reorganize subordinate agencies and units within this September.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city held a conference on September 11 to review work in the first eight months of 2025 and set tasks for the remainder of the year.
After listening to reports and opinions, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the city’s Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations in streamlining organizational structures, appointing staff, and issuing temporary regulations to initially meet assigned requirements and tasks, contributing to building two-tier local government across the city.
Secretary of the city Party Committee Le Tien Chau stressed that two-tier local government building is a new undertaking that requires a new mindset and approach from cadres to civil servants and public employees, with stronger determination and initiative in overcoming immediate difficulties and obstacles.
Chau required the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong and socio-political organizations to promptly coordinate with local Party committees to properly organize congresses of grassroots-level organizations, moving toward building a plan for the city-level congress in line with requirements, ensuring timeliness and goals, to report to higher-level authorities within September.
The city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations need to fully and accurately study and update new guidelines from Central bodies to improve internal regulations, consolidate personnel, and reorganize subordinate agencies and units within this September.
The Secretary of the city Party Committee asked the city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to strengthen financial management, especially of funds; regularly fulfill its supervisory and social counter-argument roles; and ensure that post-supervision recommendations are specific, clear, and well-argued, thereby contributing to Party and government building to meet the aspirations of the city’s voters.
Cadres, civil servants, and public employees need to thoroughly study Resolution No. 21-NQ/TU on strengthening the Party’s leadership over the work of the Fatherland Front at all levels in Hai Phong for the 2025–2030 period, with a vision to 2045, and flexibly apply it in practice.
It is necessary to accelerate digital transformation to improve work efficiency, enabling the Fatherland Front at all levels of the city to promote its role as a bridge between the Party, the State, and the people, first and foremost by fostering unity and cohesion among its affiliates and political organizations.
