Presenting savings books to assist workers in overcoming difficulties is an annual activity of Makalot Garments Vietnam Co., Ltd. and its trade union.
Makalot Garments Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Ha Tay commune, Hai Phong city and its trade union held the program “Makalot – Connecting Love 2025” on October 25.
This is the 12th year the company has organized the event to share hardships with employees facing difficult situations or serious illnesses.
During the program, representatives of the company’s management and trade union presented 82 savings books, each worth 6 million VND, to trade union members in particularly difficult circumstances.
Kevin, Deputy General Director of Makalot Garments Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that to carry out this meaningful activity, the company’s trade union works closely each year with production teams to review and identify cases of workers in need and propose support from both the trade union and the company.
Earlier, the firm had supported two disadvantaged families in Ha Tay commune with 20 million VND each to help them build “Great Unity” houses.
