Offshore waters of Hai Phong are forecast to have northeasterly winds at level 5 – 6, gusting to level 7, with slight rough seas today.

Due to the influence of cold air, offshore waters of Hai Phong, including Bach Long Vi special zone, are forecast to have northeasterly winds at level 5 – 6, gusting to level 7, with waves 1.5 – 2 m high and slight rough seas today (November 21), according to the city Hydrometeorological Station.
Forecasts show that by midday and afternoon on November 21, winds will gradually decrease to level 4 – 5.
Coastal areas of Hai Phong, including Cat Hai special zone, the wards of Do Son, Nam Do Son, Duong Kinh, Dong Hai, Hai An, and Nam Trieu, and the communes of Kien Hai, Hung Thang, and Chan Hung, are likely to experience northeasterly winds at level 2 – 3, with waves 0.25 – 0.75 m high.

On the night of November 21 and during November 22, offshore waters of Hai Phong will have northeasterly winds at level 4.
Specialized agencies warn that all vessels, aquaculture areas, and activities in these waters face a high risk of being affected by strong winds and high waves.
