Overall, in the first four months of 2026, the city’s total foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows reached about USD 1,298.4 million, achieving 33.3% of the annual target and increasing by 76.3% compared to the same period in 2025.
Of this, FDI attracted within industrial parks and economic zones amounted to approximately USD 1,242.22 million, reaching 34.5% of the annual target and accounting for 95.7% of the total. Meanwhile, FDI outside industrial parks and economic zones reached around USD 56.14 million, achieving 18.7% of the annual target and making up 4.3% of the total inflows.
The strong growth in FDI continues to affirm Hai Phong as an attractive destination for investors, with synchronized planning and expanded development space identified as key solutions.
In addition, a more open and business-friendly investment environment, along with substantive and effective administrative reforms aimed at reducing time and costs for enterprises, has further enhanced the city’s appeal.
