Civil servants, public employees, and workers in administrative agencies, public service units, political organizations, and socio-political organizations in Hai Phong city will have a four-day break for National Day 2025.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs), civil servants and public employees will be off from Saturday (August 30, 2025) through Tuesday (September 2, 2025). This includes two statutory National Day holidays and two weekend days (Saturday and Sunday).
Workers will have two days off: Tuesday (September 2) and either Monday (September 1) or Wednesday (September 3), not including regular weekly days off or personal leave taken immediately before or after the holiday.
Employers are encouraged to grant workers the same National Day holiday schedule as civil servants and public employees.
Agencies and units that do not have fixed weekends on Saturdays and Sundays should arrange an appropriate schedule based on their specific plans and programs, and must notify employees at least 30 days in advance.
This will be the last public holiday of 2025.
