100 out of 1,900 entries for the 2026 ‘Hai Phong in My Heart’ photo contest have been selected to be honored and introduced to the public.
An award ceremony and the opening of the 2026 “Hai Phong in My Heart” photo exhibition took place at the Exhibition House of the Cultural, Cinematography and Exhibition Center on September 19.
Earlier, a photo contest, organized by LG Innotek Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. to mark the 10th anniversary of the company’s investment and operations in the city, encouraged residents to use smartphones to capture beautiful, familiar moments in the port city.
After the contest was launched, the organizers received 1,900 entries. A total of 100 outstanding entries were selected for awards, including one first prize, three second prizes, 12 third prizes and 84 consolation prizes, worth a total of VND 138 million. “The Beauty of the Port City” by author Giang Son Dong, taken with an iPhone 16 Pro Max, won first prize.
Following the award ceremony, the organizers held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the exhibition. The 100 selected works offer diverse perspectives on the city’s landscapes, people and everyday life, helping preserve the simple moments of Hai Phong through the lenses of local residents.
The exhibition is open to the public through September 27.
