Continuing the working program of the 14th National Party Congress, in the afternoon of January 20, the delegates of the Hai Phong City Party Committee conducted discussions on the draft documents submitted to the Congress.
All delegates of the Hai Phong City Party Committee highly agreed and unanimously supported the preparation of the draft documents for the Congress, which was carried out seriously, scientifically, steadfast in principled viewpoints, while clearly demonstrating strong innovations in thinking, closely adhering to reality.

The 14th National Party Congress bears a very great historical mission, not only setting goals and orientations for tasks in the new term, but also deciding on strategic issues for the future and destiny of the nation in the coming decades, contributing to successfully achieving the goal of developing a strong country, standing shoulder to shoulder with the five continents' powers as the aspiration of President Ho Chi Minh and the hope of the entire nation.

Together with 1,586 delegates representing over 5.6 million Party members nationwide attending the 14th National Party Congress, the delegation of the Hai Phong City Party Committee consists of 47 delegates. The city delegation comes with the mindset of one of the Party committees with many outstanding remarks. After the merger, Hai Phong City ranked third nationwide in term of economic scale, with GRDP ranking second nationwide last year and marking the 11th consecutive year of double-digit growth.
With these achievements, the port city has made important contributions to the country's overall success. All delegates of the Hai Phong City Party Committee share a common belief and expectation that the success of the 14th National Party Congress will open new chapters in the 96-year history of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
