Hai Phong city now has over 48,000 active businesses, including more than 27,000 in the east and over 21,000 in the west.

As many as 3,370 businesses were established across Hai Phong since early this year, reaching 56.2% of the year’s target, reported the city People’s Committee.
Of these, over 2,000 enterprises were set up in eastern Hai Phong, while 1,300 were launched in the west.
The businesses were established across nearly all production and service sectors, with the highest numbers in transportation, logistics, processing, manufacturing, commerce, and services.
Hai Phong now has over 48,000 active businesses, including more than 27,000 in the east and over 21,000 in the west.
Following the recent administrative merger, the city aims to register around 6,000 new businesses in the second half of 2025.
