The Hai Phong Department of Agriculture and Environment has requested contractors to apply optimal construction methods to complete the remaining model new-style rural projects as scheduled.
By the end of October 2025, Hai Phong had completed and put into use 262 model new-style rural projects launched in 2024, including 170 in the east and 92 in the west.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the progress of model new-style rural projects in eastern Hai Phong remains slow. To date, 837 projects have yet to be completed, and 35 projects have not started construction.
The delays are mainly due to difficulties in site clearance, with many communes yet to complete land handover to contractors.
To accelerate project implementation, in the final months of the year, the department has requested contractors to mobilize manpower and materials efficiently and apply optimal construction methods to meet the committed schedule. Road projects are expected to be basically completed by the end of November 2025, while educational facilities must be finished before December 31, 2025.
