Hai Phong breaks ground on over 1,000 model new-style rural works

Hai Phong city has so far carried out 1,059 out of 1,139 model new-style rural works across localities for 2024 (93%), 232 of which have been completed, according to the city Department of Agriculture and Environment.

The average construction volume is estimated at over 60%.

To accelerate the progress of the remaining projects, in the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will continue working with localities to focus on urging the implementation, especially transportation and school projects, striving for basic completion and operation in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Under the 2024 model new-style rural building program, the city has a total of 1,139 projects, including 1,047 in eastern communes of Hai Phong and 92 in western communes.
