Gia Loc industrial park lures two more projects

Two investment projects in Gia Loc industrial park, Hai Phong city have recently been approved.

The first project belongs to Chongqing GenFu Technology Co., Ltd. from China. It aims to build an electronic component manufacturing plant under the name GenFu Vietnam Science and Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of nearly 286 billion VND.

The company is expected to annually produce approximately 1.2 million semi-finished circuit board products and 1.2 million inverter components, stators and rotors for generators; and manufacture and assemble about 100,000 high-pressure pumps and controllers, 50,000 mobile power supplies and backup batteries, and 50,000 gearbox units for grass cutters.

Revenue from the rights to export, import, and distribute these production-targeted products is expected to reach about 138 million USD/ year.

The project, covering approximately 12,220 m2 of land, is scheduled to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The second project, by Tomoken Vietnam Fire Protection Co., Ltd., involves a 231 billion VND investment to build a factory producing valves, water pipes, and casting and processing metal components for machinery and equipment.

Once operational, the factory will produce 1 million valves and water pipes and 4 million metal components, cast 1 million metal sets, and process another 1 million mechanical sets annually.

The project is expected to generate about 10 million USD in annual revenue from export, import, and wholesale distribution rights.

This project will occupy more than 26,000 m2 of land and is scheduled to begin production in October 2026.

Gia Loc industrial park has so far attracted three secondary investors. The park’s developer is currently in negotiations and expected to sign more land lease agreements with foreign enterprises by the end of the year.
