The Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, held the opening ceremony of the Red River Delta – Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair 2025 at Xu Dong Cultural Center Square in Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Phong city on November 5 evening.

In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong said the fair is one of the region’s key trade promotion events in 2025, aimed at strengthening regional linkage, promoting images, expanding trade, and fostering local economic development.

The Vice Chairman emphasized that the fair offers an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to showcase OCOP products, exemplary rural industrial goods, clean agricultural produce, and products with clear origins.

It also serves as a platform to enhance cooperation between Hai Phong and other provinces and cities in the Red River Delta in particular and across the country in general, thereby promoting trade promotion activities, expanding exchanges and partnerships, and strengthening production, business, and development linkages, Cuong said.

He expressed his belief that through the fair, localities and enterprises will continue to enhance cooperation, promote regional linkage, and pursue sustainable economic development, while improving competitiveness, advancing e-commerce, and building modern, green, and sustainable Vietnamese brands.
The fair is taking place from November 5 - 9 with more than 200 booths representing over 100 businesses, cooperatives, and craft villages from provinces and cities in the region as well as other localities nationwide.

In addition to product exhibition and introduction, the fair also features various trade connection programs, trade promotion activities, OCOP product showcases, investment cooperation events, and video presentations highlighting the economic, cultural, and tourism development of Hai Phong and other localities in the region.
