Promoting digital technology applications at Con Son - Kiep Bac Festival 2026

One of the highlights of this year's Con Son - Kiep Bac Festival will be promoting the application of digital technology to help locals and visitors proactively access information and conveniently participate in activities, according to the announcement of the conclusion by Chairman of the Hai Phong People's Committee Do Thanh Trung at a recent meeting to hear a report on preparations for the 2026 festival.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to take the lead in developing a QR code through which visitors can look up the overall festival program, detailed schedules of individual activities, locations, scale, forms of participation, tours, etc.

Information on dining, accommodation and entertainment services will also be updated, contributing to improving experiences and service connectivity.

The city plans to organize the festival in a way that expands the space while maintaining the solemnity and sacredness of Kiep Bac temple.

The arrangement of booths, exhibition areas, demonstrations, food areas and OCOP products will be studied and reorganized, with additional check-in spots to be created along the route from the parking area to the temple. Traditional art programs characteristic of Hai Phong are expected to be held in front of Kiep Bac temple.

Another important highlight is that, at the opening ceremony, Hai Phong, in coordination with Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh, will propose the announcement of the brand identity for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex of Monuments and Scenic Landscapes, a World Heritage Site. This is expected to provide an opportunity to strengthen connectivity, promote the outstanding values of the heritage space and enhance the destination's appeal.
