Nearly 120,000 visitors attend Con Son - Kiep Bac festival
The sharp increase in visitors shows the special appeal of the Con Son - Kiep Bac World Cultural Heritage complex of relics and scenic landscapes during each festival season.
According to the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board, there were nearly 120,000 tourists visiting and worshipping at Con Son and Kiep Bac relic sites over the three days of the 2026 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, from September 26 to 28, a surge of 118% from the same period in 2025.
On September 27 alone, the number of visitors sharply increased, with about 60,000 people visiting and paying homage at the Con Son and Kiep Bac relic sites. This was because the day fell on a weekend and coincided with several programs held as part of the festival.
The sharp increase in festival-goers shows the special appeal of the Con Son - Kiep Bac World Cultural Heritage complex of relics and scenic landscapes during each festival season.
During the festival, weather conditions were relatively favorable, while communication and promotional activities were widely carried out. Efforts to improve infrastructure, ensure public security and order, maintain environmental sanitation and regulate traffic were also given close attention.
