Over 61.8-ha industrial cluster breaks ground in Nam An Phu Commune
The 61.8-ha Thang Long Industrial Cluster has broken ground in Nam An Phu Commune, Hai Phong, with a focus on attracting businesses in mechanical engineering, electronics and supporting industries.
Construction of the Thang Long Industrial Cluster began in Nam An Phu Commune on September 27.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Le Trung Kien, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee, recognized the efforts of Nam An Phu Commune and Thuan An Phat Infrastructure Co., Ltd., the project investor, in removing obstacles related to site clearance and bringing the project to the point where construction could begin.
He asked Nam An Phu Commune to focus on completing the remaining tasks, proactively coordinate with and support the investor in implementing the project. Relevant departments and sectors were requested to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles within their authority and prevent bottlenecks from arising that could affect the project schedule.
The investor was asked to mobilize resources and personnel, accelerate infrastructure construction, and soon launch activities to promote and attract businesses to invest and operate in the industrial cluster, thereby maximizing investment efficiency and contributing to local economic development.
Thang Long Industrial Cluster has an advantageous transport location, close to national highways, expressways, Gia Binh Airport and the region’s seaport and logistics system. The investor is expected to effectively capitalize on these advantages to attract suitable businesses and projects.
Thang Long Industrial Cluster has a total planned area of more than 61.8 hectares and is planned for synchronized, modern development, with a focus on attracting mechanical manufacturing, electronics, supporting industries and other suitable sectors.
