Korean organization supports home construction for disadvantaged households in Hai Phong
15 disadvantaged households in Hai Phong will be supported with home construction by GPI, a Korean organization.
The Hai Phong Union of Friendship Organizations has signed an agreement to implement a project to build houses for 15 disadvantaged families in the city.
Funded by GPI of South Korea at a total cost of nearly VND 4.8 billion, the project will be implemented for 15 disadvantaged households in Tran Lieu Ward and An Quang Commune. Each house will have a floor area of 35-40 m2, helping the families improve their living conditions and stabilize their lives. The project will be handed over before the 2027 Lunar New Year.
The signing of the agreement provides a basis for the parties to define their responsibilities, agree on coordination arrangements and organize implementation, ensuring that the project is carried out for the right purposes, effectively and in compliance with legal regulations. The project will thereby contribute to strengthening friendly cooperation between the Hai Phong Union of Friendship Organizations and GPI in particular, and Vietnam-South Korea relations in general.
