Hai Phong connects Korean businesses in green technology
A technology supply-demand connection session has opened up opportunities for cooperation between Hai Phong businesses and Korean partners in various new technology fields.

The Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology organized a technology supply-demand connection session between domestic organizations and businesses and foreign enterprises on September 17.
Attending the session were Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Cao Thang; Dr. Park Byung-Hun, Secretary-General of the Korea Energy Management System Industry Association (KEMSA); and representatives of the leadership of several relevant departments, sectors and units.

According to Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Cao Thang, cooperation between Hai Phong and Korean partners is one of the areas with significant potential, particularly in high technology, digital transformation and green technology.
With this orientation, through connections facilitated by KEMSA, the city expects to promote stronger cooperation between Korean and Hai Phong enterprises in innovation, moving toward the research and implementation of joint venture models.

The Korean delegation participating in the connection session comprised seven businesses operating in artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, energy, infrastructure, carbon management and the development of green technology solutions.
These are fields considered capable of meeting the technology application and transfer needs of Hai Phong enterprises, in line with the city's green, smart and modern development orientation.
At the session, three memoranda of cooperation between Hai Phong and Korean businesses were signed, helping concretize the orientation of making science, technology and innovation drivers of improved productivity, quality and competitiveness, while expanding international cooperation opportunities in the city's digital transformation and green development process.
