Hai Phong People’s Committee Chairman works with Pegatron Vietnam
Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Do Thanh Trung has visited and worked with Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park.

Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, visited and worked with Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Zone 2) on September 14.
Trung congratulated Pegatron Vietnam on its production and business performance over the past time, saying the company had become a pioneer and a model demonstrating a vision for sustainable, long-term development in Hai Phong and development together with the city.
Regarding the company’s proposals and recommendations, the Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee assigned city departments and agencies and the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority to urgently review, support and quickly resolve arising difficulties and obstacles, helping the company step up production, business and import-export operations.

The chairman asked Pegatron Vietnam to continue paying attention to and strengthening cooperation programs with universities, colleges and vocational training institutions in the city to attract high-quality human resources that meet the company’s needs.
Trung expressed his hope that Pegatron Vietnam would quickly complete its new worhshops, actively attract investors in its ecosystem to Hai Phong, and create conditions for the city’s supporting enterprises to participate more deeply in the company’s production chain. At the same time, the company should continue investing in Phase 2 of its dormitory project to meet workers’ accommodation needs.

Earlier, Chairman of the City People’s Committee Do Thanh Trung toured the workers’ housing area of Pegatron Vietnam in Dong Hai Ward.
Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. was built on an area of 35.71 hectares with total investment of USD 800 million. The company is currently employing nearly 9,000 workers.
Regarding production and business performance, the company’s revenue in the first eight months of 2026 increased by about 15.2% compared with the same period in 2025. The firm expects its revenue in 2026 to increase by about 19.59% compared with 2025.
