Hai Phong to have 7 more industrial parks covering over 1,600 ha
Hai Phong City is accelerating investment preparations for seven industrial parks with a combined budget of about VND 25.5 trillion and a total area of over 1,600 ha.
According to the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, seven industrial park projects are undergoing investment and construction preparation procedures, including Ngu Phuc (Phase 1), Tran Duong - Hoa Binh (Area A), Tran Duong - Hoa Binh (Area B), Kim Thanh 2 (Phase 1), An Hoa, Tien Lang 2 and Trung Lap. The total investment of the seven projects is about VND 25.5 trillion, with a combined area of more than 1,600 ha.
The Municipal People's Committee has tasked the authority with stepping up support for investors in carrying out administrative procedures; proactively coordinating to resolve difficulties and accelerate site clearance; urging infrastructure investors to promptly begin construction as soon as cleared land is available; and helping resolve difficulties faced by businesses in investment, construction and labor to soon commence the projects.
The Municipal People's Committee also asked the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to accelerate site clearance for the projects, including industrial park infrastructure projects, helping ensure implementation progress and put the projects into operation soon.
