Viet Tiep Hospital uses AI to support diagnostic imaging
Viet Tiep Hospital has provided professional staff with guidance on using artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging.
At the program, experts introduced the basics of Carebot AI CXR and Carebot AI Bones artificial intelligence (AI) systems; provided guidance on the usage process, input and output data, how to read and refer to the results, as well as points to note when applying AI in diagnostic imaging practice.
Carebot AI CXR supports the analysis of chest X-ray images, particularly the detection of lung nodules and certain lesions on X-rays. Meanwhile, Carebot AI Bones supports the detection of bone fractures, providing doctors with additional reference information when reading and evaluating images.
In addition to the features currently being deployed, experts also shared information about the process of continuously updating and improving the systems to expand their ability to identify and provide support for more complex lesions.
The activity is a step toward helping professional staff at Viet Tiep Hospital access and effectively use AI solutions in diagnostic imaging. In the coming period, the hospital will continue to monitor and evaluate practical effectiveness, collect doctors' feedback and coordinate with relevant units to improve the process of applying this technology.
