Khuc Thua Du Temple Festival opens

This year's Khuc Thua Du Temple Festival takes place as the entire country joyfully celebrates National Day (September 2).

Khuc Thua Du Commune opened the 2026 Khuc Thua Du Temple Festival on September 2 to commemorate the 1,119th death anniversary of Khuc Thua Du and announce the decision of the Hai Phong People's Committee recognizing the temple, a national historical relic, as a tourist attraction.

Khuc Thua Du temple is dedicated to First Lord Khuc Thua Du, Middle Lord Khuc Hao and Later Lord Khuc Thua My, who made contributions to resisting the domination of the Tang Dynasty and helped lay the foundations for Vietnam's national autonomy in the early 10th century.
