Hai Phong to host 2026 e-commerce fair
The 2026 e-commerce fair is expected to take place over two days at the Hai Phong Convention and Performance Center.

Enhancing digital transformation and e-commerce capabilities
The Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade has recently issued a plan to organize the 2026 e-commerce fair themed “Connecting Regions, Expanding Markets”.
The fair is expected to take place over two days, October 1 and 2, at the City Convention and Performance Center. This is one of the activities to realize the 2026 National E-commerce Development Program, as well as the E-commerce Development Plan in Hai Phong for the 2026 – 2030 period and 2026.
The fair is expected to feature around 30 – 35 standard booths along with several highlight ones, creating a space to connect manufacturing and trading businesses with e-commerce platforms, technology companies, digital payment solution providers, logistics service providers and distribution partners.
One of the fair's highlights will be a space displaying and introducing OCOP products, typical rural industrial products and signature products from Hai Phong and other provinces and cities nationwide in in-person and online formats. The booths are expected to use QR codes to help consumers look up product information and place orders online.
In addition, the fair will feature a technology and innovation experience area showcasing digital transformation solutions, e-commerce platforms, cashless payment methods such as QR codes and e-wallets, and modern logistics services supporting production and business activities in the digital environment.
According to the program, conferences to disseminate information on e-commerce laws and relevant legal provisions will be held as part of the event. Workshops will also provide guidance on applying digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to e-commerce activities, helping improve digital transformation capabilities among producers and businesses.
Strengthening regional linkages and expanding consumer markets
One of the fair's key objectives is to strengthen regional linkages in e-commerce development and connect supply and demand online, supporting businesses, cooperatives and household businesses in expanding domestic markets and moving toward exports.
As part of the fair, memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements are expected to be signed between local businesses and e-commerce platforms, logistics providers, payment solution providers and distribution partners. The aim is to establish long-term cooperation mechanisms, build an online trade promotion support network after the event and create a foundation for sustainable expansion of consumer markets.
According to the draft program, on October 1, 2026, the fair will feature product displays, workshops providing guidance on digital technology and AI applications, and livestream sales sessions to promote, introduce and sell OCOP products, typical rural industrial products and signature products from Hai Phong and other localities on digital platforms.
On October 2, product displays and livestream sessions will continue, along with conferences to disseminate information on legal provisions, guidance on implementing e-commerce criteria under the National Target Program on New-style Rural Building for the 2026 – 2030 period, and cooperation-signing activities.
