Temporary vehicle ban on several central Hai Phong streets
Hai Phong will temporarily ban vehicles from several roads around the City Opera House and the Central Flower Garden Strip on weekend evenings, starting at 6 pm on August 28.
The Traffic Police Division under the Hai Phong Police has announced temporary traffic arrangements to ensure order and safety during activities on the pedestrian street around the City Opera House and the Central Flower Garden Strip.
Accordingly, from 6 pm to midnight every Friday and Saturday, starting August 28, all vehicles will be prohibited from traveling on several roads and in designated areas.
Specifically, vehicles will be banned on Quang Trung Street, from the Quang Trung – Me Linh intersection to the Quang Trung – Hoang Van Thu intersection.
On Hoang Van Thu Street, the restriction will apply from the Hoang Van Thu – Ky Dong intersection to the Hoang Van Thu – Cau Dat intersection.
On Dinh Tien Hoang Street, the restricted section runs from the Dinh Tien Hoang – Phan Chu Trinh intersection to the Dinh Tien Hoang – Tran Phu intersection.
On Tran Hung Dao Street, the restriction will apply from the Tran Hung Dao – Le Dai Hanh intersection to the Tran Hung Dao – Dinh Tien Hoang intersection.
The vehicle ban will also apply to the City Opera House Square, the fountain area, Le Chan and Nguyen Van Troi flower gardens.
Depending on actual traffic conditions, the vehicle ban and restrictions may begin earlier or last longer than announced. The Traffic Police Division asks road users to plan their routes in advance and follow instructions from traffic control officers.
