Binh Giang 3 Industrial Park subdivision plan unveiled
The Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority has approved the 1:2,000 subdivision plan for Binh Giang 3 Industrial Park in Thuong Hong Commune, covering more than 200 hectares.
Under the announced plan, the study area of Binh Giang 3 Industrial Park covers 202.57 hectares, including 200 hectares designated for the industrial park and 2.57 hectares reserved for infrastructure integration and transport connections with the East–West trunk-road and Provincial Road 396.
The industrial park will feature modern, synchronized infrastructure and is planned as a multi-sector manufacturing hub. Priority industries include electronics, information technology, mechanical engineering, new materials, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, textiles and garments, as well as other environmentally friendly manufacturing sectors.
The plan is expected to generate employment for 10,500 – 15,000 workers. Part of the land will be allocated for lease to high-tech enterprises, small- and medium-sized businesses, and innovative startups.
In terms of environmental infrastructure, the park will have a separate wastewater collection system and a wastewater treatment plant with a planned capacity of 9,300 m3/ day. Treated wastewater must meet Column A of Vietnam's National Technical Regulation on Industrial Wastewater before being discharged into the existing Dong La and Binh Cach canals.
