Rainstorms likely to occur across Hai Phong
As strong wind gusts may accompany rainstorms, residents are advised to take precautions, especially during outdoor activities and travel at sea.
Hai Phong will experience partly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms in many areas during the day and night of August 16, forecast the City Hydrometeorological Station.
In the administrative center and City Theater area, skies will be partly cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be light, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 33°C and humidity between 80% and 85%.
The northwestern and southwestern parts of the city will see similar conditions, with partly cloudy weather, intermittent showers and thunderstorms, light winds, temperatures of 26 – 33°C, and humidity of 80 – 85%.
Along the coastal area, including Cat Hai Special Zone and Do Son, partly cloudy skies and occasional showers and thunderstorms are forecast. Southwesterly winds will reach force 2 – 3, while temperatures will range from 27°C to 33°C with humidity of 85 – 90%.
Over the Gulf of Tonkin and Bach Long Vi Special Zone, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected, with visibility exceeding 10 km. Southwesterly winds will be at force 3 – 4, temperatures will range from 27°C to 33°C, and humidity will remain at 85 – 90%.
The City Hydrometeorological Station warned that thunderstorms may bring strong wind gusts and urged residents to stay alert, particularly when engaging in outdoor activities or traveling at sea.
