Hai Phong Tax Office collects over VND 68 trillion for budget in 7 months

In the first seven months of 2026, the Hai Phong Tax Office collected 66% of the assigned budget estimate and 60.4% of the targeted collection.

By July 2026, the Hai Phong Tax Office had monitored and managed as many as 408,477 taxpayers, including 120,279 enterprises and organizations and 288,198 business households.

In July alone, the department collected VND 7.251 trillion for the budget, exceeding the amount estimated by relevant agencies by VND 1.562 trillion. In the first seven months of the year, total budget revenue reached VND 68.055 trillion, equivalent to 66% of the assigned budget estimate and 60.4% of the targeted collection.

Compared with the assigned budget estimate, 12 of 20 revenue categories reached or exceeded the average annual collection rate of 58.3%. Notably, revenue from Central State-owned enterprises reached 94.2%; non-State enterprises, 91.3%; foreign-invested enterprises, 78.6%; agricultural land use tax, 86.5%; lottery activities, 76%; fees for mineral extraction rights, 89%; payments for the use of marine areas, 339.5%; and dividends, distributed profits and after-tax profits, 254.6%.

Compared with the same period in 2025, 11 of 20 revenue categories recorded growth. Notably, revenue from Central State-owned enterprises increased by 73.2%; foreign-invested enterprises, 45.6%; non-State enterprises, 45.5%; land rental, 38.6%; and payments for the use of marine areas, 298.5%.
