TC-HICT welcomes first vessel on direct India shipping service
Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Terminal has welcomed SYNERGY OAKLAND, the first vessel operated by ZIM on its NIX (New India Express Service) route.

Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Terminal (TC-HICT) has successfully received SYNERGY OAKLAND, the inaugural vessel on ZIM's NIX (New India Express Service), an international container shipping route providing direct connections between Vietnam and destinations across Asia and India.
The milestone marks the official launch of the new service, creating an additional direct link between Hai Phong and India's major gateway ports.

The NIX service follows the route: Shanghai - Ningbo - Da Chan Bay - Port Klang - Nhava Sheva - Hazira Port/Surat - Mundra - Port Klang - TC-HICT - Shanghai. SYNERGY OAKLAND has a capacity of approximately 4,250 TEUs and is 260 m long.
The launch of the NIX service at TC-HICT is expected to strengthen import-export cargo connectivity between Vietnam and the South Asian market while expanding the network of direct shipping services to major regional ports.
