Hai Phong comes second at 2026 National Youth, Teenagers and Children's Table Tennis Championships

The 2026 National Youth, Teenagers and Children's Table Tennis Championships has concluded in Da Nang.

Hai Phong team won a total of seven gold, seven silver and 15 bronze medals to secure second place in the overall standings. The T&T People's Public Security team topped the medal table with 17 gold, six silver and 11 bronze medals.

Hai Phong claimed gold medals in the boys' youth team, girls' youth singles, boys' youth singles, girls' youth doubles and boys' youth doubles events.

Notably, the city's promising young players all impressed throughout the tournament.

Nguyen Duy Phong secured two gold medals in the U20 - U21 boys' team event and the U20 - U21 boys' singles event. Bui Huu Huy and Dinh Quang Minh each earned two gold medals in the U20 - U21 boys' team and boys' doubles events. Nguyen Ngoc Kim Ngan claimed two gold medals in the U16 - U17 girls' singles and girls' doubles events.

The 2026 National Youth, Teenagers and Children's Table Tennis Championships were held in Da Nang from July 21 to 30, attracting 30 teams and nearly 700 athletes.
